Choosing industrial rope for the application
Industrial rope is available in different materials and constructions for different duties. The intended application, diameter, length, environment and required performance need to be defined before selecting rope or a finished rope assembly.

Can general rope be assumed suitable for lifting?
No. Rope and assemblies must be selected for their intended duty. If the requirement is lifting, ask for a lifting product specifically suitable for that application.
