Choosing rescue stretchers for the application
Rescue stretchers are selected around the casualty-handling method, access route, lifting or lowering arrangement and the rescue equipment used with them. Space, orientation and compatible strops or connectors are important parts of the requirement.
Access route
Describe the space, opening dimensions and route through which the stretcher must be moved.
Rescue method
Tell us whether the stretcher needs to be carried, raised, lowered or used in another planned retrieval arrangement.
Connections
Include any required stretcher strops, lifting points, davits, tripods or compatible rescue equipment.
